Dr Nelson Obinna Omenugha, Special Adviser to Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on Youth Reformation, has been appointed a member of the South-East Youth Mobilisation Directorate of the Tinubu/All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment, contained in a circular issued on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, by the APC National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, assigns Omenugha a role in youth mobilisation across the five South-East states of Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The appointment highlights the strategic importance of youth engagement and grassroots mobilisation in the party’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
Omenugha, who serves as Governor Soludo’s Special Adviser on Youth Reformation, brings experience in youth development, strategic communication, public engagement and leadership development to the assignment.
In Anambra State, he is involved in advancing the government’s youth reformation agenda, which focuses on character formation, civic responsibility, enterprise and empowering young people to contribute meaningfully to community and national development.
His appointment is expected to strengthen youth-focused engagement, grassroots outreach and mobilisation efforts in support of the APC and President Tinubu’s re-election campaign across the South-East geopolitical zone
