The immediate past deputy guber candidate of the African Democratic Congress ADC, in the November 8th, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, has been honoured for his performance and leadership quality at providing excellence and commitment to peace, unity and political development of the State in particular and Nigeria in general.
A Social group, Unique Fellows All Nations Club, presented the Political Iconic award to Nwobu during the installation ceremony of it 7th Mayor, Uniq Sir Gabriel Udoka Moneke, held at the ASUU Secretariat Unizik in Awka, on October 3rd, 2026.
The award, according to the club was purely given to the former ADC deputy governorship candidate on merit.
The newly installed Mayor who presented the award to Chief Nwobu who was also the Chairman of the occasion, described him as one of the greatest political figures in Nigeria current political space.
Mayor Moneke said Nwobu’s award and other deserving awardees were in recognition of their continue efforts at ensuring a conducive political almophere in Anambra State.
In his brief acceptance speech, Chief Nwobu while appreciating the club for the honoured, promised to sustain his advocacy for a peaceful political environment in Anambra State and beyond, especially, in the upcoming 2027 general election.
