The Special Adviser to governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State, on Youth Reformation, Dr Nelson Obinna Omenugha has extended the governor’s youth reformation agenda to Ottawa, Canada.
According to Omenugha, in a statement in Awka, said the extension aimed at opening possibilities for stronger diaspora-to-home mentorship, knowledge transfer, skills partnerships, youth entrepreneurship, innovation and deeper engagement between young Anambra people at home and abroad.
He said, “Yesterday, Sunday, 4th October, I had an engaging conversation with Anambra youths in Ottawa, Canada, on practical strategies for advancing Youth Reformation and Development in Anambra State.
“I shared the intentional approach of our dear Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, particularly his focus on upskilling, productivity, employment, entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for young people to participate meaningfully in leadership and governance.

“Beyond government, we also reflected on what young Ndi Anambra can do differently – moving from dependency to enterprise, leveraging technology and global exposure, building relevant skills, mentoring others, creating jobs, investing back home and contributing to our homeland.
“The conversation opened possibilities for stronger diaspora-to-home mentorship, knowledge transfer, skills partnerships, youth entrepreneurship, innovation and deeper engagement between our young people at home and abroad.
“The message was clear: youth development must be intentional, youth participation must be meaningful, and youth reformation must produce young people who are productive, responsible and ready to lead.
“Whether at home or in the Diaspora, we all have a role to play in building the New Onye Anambra – one that creates, contributes, serves and makes Anambra better.
“Omenugha noted that the highlight of the session was the presentation of the “Ife Nke Obodo M” caps and “Partner in Nation Building” book to selected participants.
