Women leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Nnokwa community in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, have pledged to mobilise voters across the town for a landslide victory of the party’s house of representative candidate for Idemili North/South Federal Constituency, Kingsley Ezekwelu Esq, in the 2027 general elections.
The women vow that they would take the campaign beyond political rallies by engaging fellow women from the neigbouring communities, educating voters and using their grassroots networks to canvass support for Ezekwelu.
The argure that the APC House representative candidate, Ezekwelu, remains the best among his co-contesters from other political parties, particularly, the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA and the Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC, to represent the good people of Idemili North/ South Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly Abuja.
The commitment was unanimously made by the women during Ezekwelu”s Thank you rally, held at the community square, on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, where the APC Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Chief Sunday Obidigbo, charged the women to matched their words with action as so as possible.

Addressing the women mostly from Nnokwa APC ward 1 and 2, the house of representative hopeful, said the political strength of APC women must translate into grassroots participation, urging them to understand the electoral process and educate voters in their various polling units ahead of voting proper come January 16th, 2027.
He said “Our responsibility towards 2027 is simple. APC women must understand that their political strength must be translated into active political participation.
“Women must not only attend rallies. They must participate in voters’ education. They must understand the electoral process and support a candidate with fear of God.
He urged APC women to urgently take the message to their homes, neighbors and polling units, stressing the need for urgent grassroots mobilisation ahead of the voting proper.
The Thank you rally ended with a one hour dedicated prayer for a total victory for Ezekwelu by the women.
