By Daniel Ezeigwe The graduation of Oduko Soludo with First Class Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham has understandably drawn widespread cheers. By Daniel Ezeigwe The digital age has given everyone a voice, but it has also placed a greater responsibility on anyone who chooses to use that voice. Today, the race for social media relevance, clicks and online traffic has created an unhealthy culture where sensationalism often takes precedence over fact. In that desperate quest for attention, some bloggers and content creators have turned falsehood, half-truths and deliberate distortions into a business model, with governments, public officials and institutions becoming easy preys and targets.
