A humanitarian group, Unique Fellows All Nations, has donated food items to Shawn Christabel Orphanage Home in Awka Anambra State Capital.
The items comprising of tubers of yam, cartons of noodles, bags of rice, among other edibles.
The donation took place at the Orphanage Home premises on Sunday, September 27th, 2026.
Speaking during the event, the newly elected Mayor of the Unique Fellows All Nations, Unq.Chief Sir Gabriel Udoka Moneke (Esq), said the organisation made a promise to donate food items to Shawn Christabel Orphanage Home Awka, in support of the orphans and the vulnerable children.
He said the gesture was part of the organization’s line of activities for the installation of it 7th Mayor and other executive members who were elected to pilot the affairs of the body for a period of three years.
Chief Moneke, thanked God for using them as a channel of blessing to the Orphanage children.
On his part, the installation planning committee chairman, Barrister Kingsley Ezeibe, thanked members of the organization who supported the exercise and called on other affluent individuals to always lend a helping hand to the needy.
Receiving the items, the Manager of Shawn Christabel Orphanage Home, Lady Nnajiofor Ifenyiwa, appreciated Unique Fellows All Nations for remembering them and prayed that God will increase them financially.
She promised to transmit the gesture to the management team of the home
