The Anambra State Chapter Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Emmanuel Anosike, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister of Woks, Engr Dave Umahi for the ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation of the 1.4 -kilometer First Niger Bridge connecting Anambra State and Delta State respectively.
Senator Anosike in his speech through the State Publicity Secretary of the Party in Anambra State Chief Dr. Val. Oliobi, said the good people of Anambra are happy with Mr President, H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and would continue to be grateful to the present federal government for harkening to the needs of Ndi Anambra and the Southest in general for the rehabilitation and maintenance work at the First River Niger Bridge.
In his words; “We are grateful to the President Bola Tinubu administration and to the Minister of Works, Senator Engr Dave Umahi for the good work being done at the Bridge for it is long overdue”.
Senator Anosike fervently thanked the President for his magnanimity to the Anambra State, Southeast and described the repair and the road maintenance of the First Niger bridge “as a promise made and promise kept” and being the first time of such a maintenance over a decade.
He emphasized that keeping of promise by any government is one of the indices with which such government is measured and trusted. Ndi Anambra trusted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Government and they are very happy with his administration strategies and technical know-how. This project is a boost to APC in the Southeast and Anambra State in particular being the first beneficiary of the construction work, we are therefore most grateful.
