A renounced Philanthropist and the Executive Chairman of Grape Tree International Limited, marketers of Diplomat Toothpaste Chief Cyril Okoye, has been graciously named, patron of Unique Fellows All Nations Club Awka, Anambra State, for his humanitarian service to the society.
Chief Okoye was honoured in recognition of his relentless philanthropic contributions to the people of his Adazi-Ani community in Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, South East region and Nigeria as a whole.
The award was presented to him during the Installation of Sir Gabriel Udoka Moneke Esq, as the 7th Mayor of Unique Fellows All Nations Club Awka/Investiture ceremony, held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at the ASUU Secretariat Unizik Awka.
Receiving the honoured, Chief Okoye commended Sir Moneke-led Unique Fellows All Nations Club for their leadership style and assure his commitment to continue to give back to the society.

“I am very very delighted with what has happened here today and also very delighted with the leadership style of the newly installed Mayor, Sir Moneke and I wish him and his executive members well as the commenced piloting the affairs of the club for three years.
“I have received several hournors all based on act of my philanthropy both in locally and nationally, but this is very significant because it’s coming from an Association full with professionals selected from different sectors of the economy.
While dedicating the honoured to God Almighty and to the people of Adazi-Ani community, Chief Okoye said the recognition has spur him to do more for the society.
He appealed to other well-to-do Nigerians irrespective of tribe, ethnic and religion affiliations to support government continue’s effort in making the country a livable and prosperous nation.
Other eminent Nigerians including the traditional ruler of Umueri community, HRH Igwe Ben Emeka (Okebo 11) and friends of the club were also honoured at the event with several categories of awards.
