The Special Adviser to Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo on Youth Reformation, Dr Nelson Obinna Omenugha, has expressed satisfaction over Zambia participation in this year 2026 conversation of World Public Relations Forum (WPRF 2026).
The WPRF conversation, according to Omenugha, who disclosed this in a statement in Awka, took place at Abuja on Thursday, September 24th, 2024.
He said the journey to the WPRF- World Public Relations Forum 2026 continues, and as Chairman of the Youth and Students Work Team, I am particularly excited about deepening our engagement with young professionals and students across Africa.
“Today, Thursday, 24 September 2026, the Youth and Students Work Team hosted a special virtual webinar with young public relations professionals and students in Zambia, introducing them more closely to WPRF Abuja 2026, sharing opportunities for participation and involvement, and exploring how they can become part of this significant global gathering of the public relations and communications community.
Under the leadership of Dr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, President, Chairman of Council, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Institute continues to strengthen Nigeria’s engagement with the global public relations community and create platforms for practitioners, students and emerging communication leaders to connect, learn and contribute.
“WPRF Abuja 2026, holding from 15–21 November 2026 at Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Nigeria, under the theme “Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World,” is not simply an event. It is an opportunity to bring together practitioners, academics, students and emerging communication leaders from different parts of the world to exchange ideas, build networks, shape conversations and examine the evolving role of public relations in a rapidly changing world.
“For us on the Youth and Students Work Team, ensuring that young people are not merely spectators but active participants in this global conversation is a key priority. We want young professionals and students to understand what WPRF offers, identify opportunities to contribute, connect with peers across countries and see themselves as an important part of the future of our profession.
“Our engagement with Zambia is therefore part of a broader effort to build an inclusive, energetic and globally connected youth presence at WPRF Abuja 2026.
“I look forward to connecting with our colleagues and young communication professionals and students in Zambia as we continue to build the momentum towards Abuja.
