As Pope Leo XIV celebrates his 71st birthday on Monday, September 14th, 2026, messages and expressions of good wishes have been arriving at the Vatican from around the world including Anambra State, Nigeria.
The Wife of the Anambra State governor and the founder of Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo, has also sent her congratulatory message conveying the greetings of her healthy initiative, the people of Anambra State and thanking the Pope for his service to humanity.
The governor’s wife described Pope Leo’s emphasis on the Gospel as the fundamental priority of ecclesial life and on faith as a personal encounter with Christ.
She said “Happy birthday, Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV.*
“May God continue to endow you with divine strength, profound insight and an unwavering spirit as you lead the Mother Church and inspire the world with your message of faith, peace and love.
“May your new year be filled with God’s abundant blessings, the first lady prayed.
